Description

Ideal basket and container plant compact and covered in a mass of star shaped flowers well suited to pot and pack production.

Sowing Instructions

Sow on to the surface of a moist seed sowing compost using a 576 plug tray or similar size unit. Do not cover the seed and propagate at 18 to 20c. Germination should begin to take place after 10 to14 days at this point maintain a temperature of 15 to 18 c. January - February sowings will result in saleable plants in late April-May, which will flower in late June-early July. September-November sowings will result in saleable plants in flower in May - June the following season.

Growing Instructions

Continue to grow the seedlings on at 15c, which can be reduced to 10c for the September-November sowings after the seedlings are established. The plugs can be transferred to pack 6 or pack 12 if intended for bedding sales or held in the plug until early spring for transferring direct into hanging baskets or container. Alternatively put three plugs into a 10cm pot for a more established flowering plant. January-February sowings need to be kept growing at 15c and can be used in the same way as the earlier sowings and will make good growth but may not flower until early July.
