Description

A curious plant with amazing flower heads. The rustic blooms are made up of a central brown head covered in many rich yellow florets.

Sowing Instructions

Sow the seed on the surface of a moist seed sowing compost in a 576 plug tray or slightly larger unit and cover with vermiculite to a depth of approximately 3 to 4mm. Propagate at 18c and germination should take place after 7 to 10 days. Maintain a temperature of 15c after germination.

Growing Instructions

Grow on the seedlings lightly shaded and when they are established and fill the tray pot on into 1 litre pots or put 3 plugs into a 2 or 3 litre pot. Over winter in a well ventilated unheated glasshouse, tunnel or cold frame for sales the following April to May.
