Description

An unusually dwarf Oenothera with deep pink flowers and deep green foliage.

Sowing Instructions

Sow on to the surface of a moist seed sowing compost in a 576 cell plug tray and cover to a depth of approximately 3-4mm with vermiculite. Propagate at 18 to 20 c and germination should start to take place after around 14 to 21 days

Growing Instructions

As the seedlings develop grow them on as cool as possible and shade from extreme direct sunlight to avoid any scorching of the foliage. Pot on into 9 or 10cm pots or use 3 plugs in a one litre pot for a bushier larger plant in spring. Over winter in a well ventilated cold glasshouse, tunnel or cold frame for sales the following spring. Alternatively sow in January-February for plants in flower in June/July.
