Naturally compact mound forming plants covered in masses of violet bell shaped flowers.

Sowing Instructions

Sow from May to July for flowering plants in June the following year or sow in January for a late flowering crop in July/August. Using a 576 plug tray or slightly larger sized unit, sow on to the surface of a moist well drained seed sowing compost lightly cover the seed with vermiculite and propagate at 15 to 18c. Temperatures higher than 20c will start to reduce the rate of germination considerably. Germination should take place after 2 weeks, sometimes 3 weeks.

Growing Instructions

Grow on the seedlings lightly shaded and when they are established and fill the tray pot on into 1 litre pots or put 3 plugs into a 2 or 3 litre pot. For sales the same season or over winter in a well ventilated unheated glasshouse, tunnel or cold frame f
