Description

A dwarf compact mixture with a spreading habit in a wide colour range. Ideal for baskets and containers.

Sowing Instructions

Sow on to a well wetted seed sowing compost in a 150 cell plug tray. Cover the seed with 5mm vermiculite to a depth of approximately 5mm and propagate at 15 to 20c. For best results sow three to four seeds per cell to produce a bushier looking plant. Germination should start to take place after 7 to 10 Days. Cool down to 15c or slightly lower soon after germination to avoid any stretching of the seedlings. Another method is to sow up to 6 seeds direct into a 9cm pot and cut out the plug transfer stage altogether.

Growing Instructions

Grow on the January sowings at 10 to 15c until they are established and then transfer them either to 9cm or 1 litre pots for sale in Late April-May. Sowings Made in September and October can be treated the same way but will need to be kept over winter in a well-ventilated unheated glasshouse tunnel or cold frame for sales the following spring.
