Description

Compact Lupin with the ability to flower in the first year from an early sowing.

Sowing Instructions

Sow on to a moist seed sowing compost in a 286 plug tray or similar size cell. Cover lightly with vermiculite and propagate at 15 to 20c. Germination should begin to take place after 10 to 14 days. Maintain a temperature of 15c after germination.

Growing Instructions

Grow on the seedlings from the January sowings at 15c until they are established at which point it can be reduced to 10c. Pot on into 9 cm pots or 3 plugs to a 1 litre or 2 litre pot and grow on at 10 to 15c this should result in saleable plants for May and June flowering in July. Pot the summer sowings in the same way but over winter these in a well ventilated cold glasshouse, tunnel or cold frame resulting in saleable plants the following April
