Description

Velvet crimson and red single bicolour flowers on spreading plants suitable for 1 and 2 litre pot production.

Sowing Instructions

Pre chill the seed to 5c for 3 weeks prior sowing. Sow on to a moist seed sowing compost in a 576 plug tray or slightly larger unit if preferred. Cover the seed lightly with vermiculite and propagate at 15 to 20c. Germination should take place in approximately three weeks.

Growing Instructions

Grow the January sowings on at 10 to 15 c until the seedlings are established and fill the tray. Pot on into a 9cm pot or put 3 plugs into a 1 or 2 litre pot in early March and grow on for sale in May-June. The May to June sowings can be treated in the same way and will require potting in late summer and over wintering in a well ventilated unheated glasshouse, tunnel or cold frame for sale the following spring.
