Description

A compact bedding Aster with red and white cushion shaped bicolor flowers.

Sowing Instructions

Sow the seed on the surface of a moist seed sowing compost in a 576 plug tray or slightly larger unit and cover with vermiculite to a depth of approximately 3 to 4 mm. Propagate at 18 to 20c and germination should take place after 10 to 14 days. Maintain a temperature of 15c after germination.

Growing Instructions

Continue to grow on the seedlings at 15c until they are established and then transfer to a 6 pack or 9cm pot when the are well developed and fill the plug tray. This should result in saleable plants in early June. Aster Red Ribbon should produce compact plants with out the need for growth regulators to be applied, they will however respond to B Nine if additional dwarfing is required.
