TRIAL GROUND OPEN WEEKEND

At the end of July every year we open up our trial grounds to the general public and you are welcome to come along and join in this extremely popular event. If you would prefer to arrange a vist at some other time please contact us.

Every year we carry out extensive trials to assess possible new introductions and ensure the varieties already in our range are still performing at the highest level. As well as seeing the new and exclusive varieties for our 2010 range, you will also be able to get a glimpse of newly developed experimental varieties, some of which have not been seen before outside of the trade.

During the day you will be able to see demonstrations and get technical advice from our own specialists. There is also our hugely popular Gardeners' Question Time, featuring Howard Drury and our own Andrew Tokely

As well as the extensive display of flowers and vegetable plants, there are also quizzes and competitions, and plants, seeds and sundries for sale. And with a good range of refeshments available you can make it a full day out!

Entry is just £2 per person and in return you get a £2 voucher to use if you spend £15 or more on Thompson & Morgan seeds. There is also a free packet of seeds for every visitor and the chance to pick up a few bargains - like this visitor at last year's trials!

We are easy to find just off the the A12/A14 on the outskirts of Ipswich. There is plenty of parking and there will be AA sign posts to help you to find us. If you have SatNav just enter our postcode IP8 3BU and it should bring you right to us. We look forward to seeing you!
